Nadi Shodhana, or alternate nostril breathing is a simple yet powerful technique to calm the mind, body, and emotions.
This breath is used for restoring balance and particularly helpful to ease anxiety, overthinking, stress, or insomnia Begin at 5-10 rounds to start, when you begin to feel more comfortable with this breathing practice, you can start to deepen/lengthen each inhale and exhale. So you may start with inhaling, holding, and exhaling for 5 seconds each, and over time lengthen it to 10-20 seconds each.
