  1. The breathing meditation: Sit in a silent place, if you can find one, close your eyes, inhale for 5 seconds, hold your breath for 5 seconds, and finally, exhale for 5 seconds. You can do this for 1-3 minutes.

  2. The visualization meditation: A great way to start your day while taking a shower, or bath, you can visualize the water as a golden light surrounding your body and bringing you peace and tranquility. This can be done for 1-3 minutes.

  3. The stretching meditation: Stand up straight, lift your arms with your fingers pointed up towards the sky, imagine energy coming to your body from the sky down to your toes and back up again.  While breathing calmly, after you take a few breaths bend down to touch your toes, and breathe a few calming breaths and face back up to the sky. Repeat this cycle as long as you feel it is needed.

  4. The walking meditation: Do a 10-20 minute walk, while listening to your favorite music. Take time to notice how beautiful everything is from the sky, to environment surrounding you, and be thankful. You are experiencing the conscious center of yourself. Yes, You are meditating.

  5. The gratitude meditation: Sit in a comfortable place, grab a pen and paper and write down what you are thankful for. Examples of this would be something as simple as having a hand to write with, or eyes to see the paper. This method attracts more things in your life, like a magnet, to be thankful for.

  6. The candle meditation: You will need, a darkly lit room, a candle, and the willingness to let go. Light any candle, and sit down facing the candle in a comfortable position. Take deep breathes in and out, and concentrate on the flickering of the flame. Allow your thoughts to flow whether negative or positive, let them pass. Keep all your focus on the flame while feeling the peacefulness of the flame.

  7. The lying down meditation: This is one of the easiest meditations.  Lye down on your bed or couch or the floor.
